- Winrar (You can download from here)
- Works even on PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim EXCEPT “CUH-1106AB02” (Do not try to install on this model)
Instructions
Step 1: Download PS4 Firmware Downgrader

Step 2: Unzip with Winrar
Step 3: Create a folder in the root of the USB stick called PS4
Step 4: Create a folder inside the PS4 folder called UPDATE
Step 5: Copy PS4UPDAT.PUP into UPDATE folder on USB

Step 6: Check PS4 version before (as you can see this PS4 is on 9.00)

Step 8: Completely shut down your PS4. When the power light is off (indicating the system is totally shut down), insert your flash drive, and then press the PS4 power button and hold it down. The unit will beep once when the system turns on, but continue holding the button until it beeps again—it takes about seven seconds. This second beep means the system is entering Safe Mode. When the system turns on, connect a DualShock controller over USB, and then press the PS button.

Step 9: When the Safe Mode menu loads, select “Update System Software” to launch the update menu.

Step 10: On the next screen, choose the “Update from USB Storage Device” option. If you haven’t already connected your flash drive, you’ll have a chance to do so now. Just select “OK” to continue when your drive is connected.

Step 11: Your PS4 will take a few minutes to search for the update file, and then it should tell you there’s a system update available Version 9.00 downgrade to 7.55. Click “Next” to install the update.

Step 12: The PS4 will take a few seconds to copy the update file from the flash drive. When that’s done, click the “Update” button to restart the system and install the update.

Step 13: After the PS4 restarts, it begins the update. Just let it do its thing while you chill out. When it’s finished, the PS4 will restart again, and you should be running the newest version.

Step 14: After install your PS4 will be on Official 7.55 Firmware

Now you can do whatever you want!
PLEASE DISABLE AUTOMATIC UPDATES AFTER DOWNGRADE
Disable automatic updates: In Settings –> System –>Automatic Downloads and Uploads, make sure “System Software Update Files” and “Install Automatically” are both unchecked
